It was October of 2015 when Matt and Emily went down a path that would forever change the landscape of their life. A friend needed help with some chickens and Matt convinced Emily to adopt some birds. From that point on they never looked back. What started off in their Chicago backyard as three chickens has now grown to a 12 acre farm animal rescue in San Jose, CA that is home to 100+ animals including Nigerian dwarf goats, miniature horses, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, dogs, cats, a turtle, lovebird and also a salt water reef tank.
